Since Joslyn's 2nd birthday, she has developed a LOVE for Tutu skirts. At first, I wouldn't let her wear them to daycare because I considered them as "dress up" attire. Now I've come to realize, it's just an accessory to her, a girl can't ever have too many accessories ;) I didn't think this phase would last that long, but I must admit, I do like it. The other day she didn't ask for a tutu and I was sad that she was already over it, but the next day she asked "tutu, tutu" so of course she wore it to daycare. The teachers seem to really like them too, they bought her a yellow one yesterday. I thought that was so sweet of them! Just a few pics from the past months!

Joslyn is 2!

This has been quite the birthday celebration for Miss Joslyn! She has to be exhausted, as I am and I wasn't even there for the Friday celebration. Thursday evening, Ginny and Angie came over to visit with Joslyn and gave her some very nice gifts. Thank to Ginny, Joslyn will be styling this Spring/Summer and thanks to Angie, Joslyn will be playing us "meow" music, she loves her cat piano! It's so cute! On Friday, she took a cookie cake for her daycare friends to sing her "Happy Birthday" it seems like it was a hit, 1/2 the cookie was gone! Saturday was her official birthday, January 7! I wanted her to know it was a special day, trying to sneak 20 balloons into her room, didn't go as planned...my first step in her room at 6am I hear "Whewww, boons!" I tried to whisper to her "Shhh Jos go back to sleep" but her pure excitement of boons wouldn't allow her. Hahha, so I got her out of her bed and told her the boons were for her birthday and she was so happy! Tyler ran to Shipley's and got her some donut holes, she loved them! Later, we took her to the park to play, it was such a beautiful day -- felt like Spring it was in the 70's!! After playing for a good while, it was time to come home for lunch then we dropped Da-Da off for the Texan's playoff game. Joslyn ended up falling asleep in the car around 1:00 and didn't wake up until 4, so I also got a good nap. Sunday was the day of her birthday party, she was such a big girl and we couldn't be more proud! We had her party at "The Little Gym" with a "Fresh Beat Band" theme...all the kiddo's had such a great time and all got along so well. It's amazing to see all our friends kids hang out; love these moments! Thank you to all the grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that were able to make it. Joslyn's 2nd birthday wouldn't have been as special without all you there. (To be Continued...Pictures to follow within the week)
