March flew by!

March was a great month!  It finally warmed up outside and the sun was out more, than not.  Joslyn and I were able to take little trips thoughout the weeks.  It was nice to be out of the house!  I feel Joslyn really grew and developed a sweet little personality.  This month she found her hands and LOVES to suck on them/fingers!  She's able to hold on to her toys and of course, those go into her mouth!  She also finally noticed Mugsy, our pup.  He loves her and is very protective of her. 

I don't want to jinx us, but she has slept through the night...going on 9 nights now!!  Which is perfect timing because I returned to work on March 31...goodbye maternity leave.  It was nice while it lasted, but have to get back to reality some time.  Joslyn started daycare full time yesterday, we really like the center and all the ladies are really nice at the end of the day, they give us a daily report of when she ate, what mood she was in, how many naps she took and how many dirty diapers she had whew!  The past 2 evenings that we've brought her home from daycare, she's been so exhausted...just wants to be held all night, which I love.  She has been in bed by 9:30 and wakes up about 4:30.  Let's hope she'll sleep through the night tonight.  Tomorrow if Good Friday, I have to work and the daycare is close...you know what that means?!  Daddy and baby bonding day!  I believe Papa T may come over and hang out too.  I know they'll be fine.

I don't know about you all, but we sure are glad February is behind us!  It was such a COLD month, burrrr...so that led us to hibernate in the house for most of the days, but that's ok, that just gave me more time to snap pictures of her!  Joslyn has a couple of best friends:  pacifier, Mr. Fan, swing, blankies and I'm sure the list will grow, eventually her and Miss Parker will run & play; I can't wait to see them together. 

This month she really has become more alert, is cooing/talking, smiling - her smile is beautiful!, she also rolled over one day during tummy time (from front to back)...that was on her 2 month birthday!  Oh and she's sleeping in her own room/crib!  She's is growing so fast!  One of my favorite things is to steal kisses on her sweet lil' cheeks, I think she likes it too...another one of my favorite things is when Tyler gets home from work, she is ALL SMILES once she sees him, it's the sweetest thing.  Daddy's girl?!  I think so! 

Now that the sun has joined us and it's a little warmer, Joslyn and I have been able to get out of the house more often...it usually is at the mall to walk around, I think she'll love to shop, I can't wait to do all the Mom/Daughter things :)  During the afternoon, we'll sit on the porch and soak in the sun, it feels so good...of course, she has a blanket over her head, the sun is still too bright for her little eyes.

I didn't post her specs from her first doctor appt, so here it is:

Height:  20 3/8 in       
Weight:  7 lbs 4 oz

We had her 2 month doctor appointment, this past Monday...here were her specs:
(March 8, 2010)
Height:  22 2/8 in = 40 %
Weight:  11 lbs 8 oz = 75%!!!  (she loves to eat, we're lucky)!

Look at the resemblance, the following pictures are of Joslyn at 2 months and Parker when she was about the same age...Parker is now 18.5 months old!  Between my family/Dayna (my sister) and I, we'll forward pics of our babies to each other throughout the day/week..I happen to send this picture of Joslyn and Dayna told me (OMG, I have a picture of Parker just like that in the same onsie), isn't this neat?!

Baby Joslyn + 5 weeks

Our precious baby, Joslyn Grace was born at TX Woman's hospital in Houston, TX on Thursday - January 7, 2010 @ 5:53 PM.  She weighed 7 lbs 2 oz and was 19 3/4 long!  It was such a wonderful experience, meeting her and seeing her for the first time!  Tyler and I feel so blessed to have such a healthy, happy, good baby.  Sure she has her unhappy moments (doesn't every baby?) she really is a good baby.
